Goodreads Synopsis: Jess Aarons' greatest ambition is to be the fastest runner in his grade. He's been practicing all summer and can't wait to see his classmates' faces when he beats them all. But on the first day of school, a new girl boldly crosses over to the boys' side and outruns everyone.

That's not a very promising beginning for a friendship, but Jess and Leslie Burke become inseparable. Together they create Terabithia, a magical kingdom in the woods where the two of them reign as king and queen, and their imaginations set the only limits.

Now a major motion picture, discover the beloved Newbery Medal-winning story of Jess Aarons and Leslie Burke. Join Jess and Leslie as they form an unlikely friendship and create the imaginary land of Terabithia.

I just have to start off by saying… I LOVED IT. This book was a quick heart felt read. I am not going to lie. I cried, like a little girl. I've seen the film before ever reading this… so I already knew what was going to happened, and yet this book touched me. This book is really down to earth… It's about a friendship and a imaginary world they invent. It's a realistic book… and I believe that's why I enjoyed it despite the fact that it made me emotional, because things happened… in any moment life as one knows it can change… and this book proves that. Great book. Enough Said. Just pick it up, and read it… I can only hope you enjoy it as much as I did.

• None that I can think of. :D

• I enjoyed how the author brought the characters to life… Paterson made them feel like actual people. I believe anyone who reads this books can relate to any one of these characters.
• I loved how the "depressing situation" was established.
• I enjoyed the writing of this book.
• I enjoyed a lot more things… but won't write them down, because I don't want to spoil anyone!! >_<;;

“You have to believe it and you hate it. I don't have to and I think it's beautiful.” ― Katherine Paterson, Bridge to Terabithia

It was a great read I hope you're thinking of picking it up soon.
